What does Partially Compatible mean?
Partially compatible products will still work together, but some features may not fully function between the two products. For example, if a hub monitor will not provide enough power delivery for a high-performance laptop but all other functionalities of the monitor work, the products will be considered partially compatible.

If you have questions about a specific pair of products that are partially compatible, please reach out to us at techhub@tamu.edu or by leaving a submission on our Feedback page.

What is a Hub Monitor?
A hub monitor is a type of display that includes multiple connectivity ports, such as USB-C, HDMI, and Ethernet, allowing it to act as a central hub for various devices and peripherals. This integration simplifies workspace setups by reducing the need for additional adapters and cables, and it often includes power delivery capabilities to charge connected devices. However, not all hub monitors can pass video signal to another monitor which may limit you to a signal display. Hub monitors can vary in ports, amount of power delivered, and additional features (e.g. built in webcam, microphone, speakers, etc.), so be sure to check the specifications of the hub monitor you are purchasing.
